My name is Churchill Clark. I took an incredible journey to honor my 4th-Great Grandfather, William Clark, during the Lewis & Clark Bicentennial. In the middle of re-tracing his journey, 200 years later, I found a new life. I knew I wasn't going to be truly happy in "town" anymore! I really had no idea where this would take me... I STILL don't! I simply follow the trees, and help them on their transformational journeys. In the process, I, too, am transformed. So are many others! This is what I call "Dugout Canoe Magic." It's real. I want to spread it as far and wide as I can! My goal is to work with schools, Tribes, museums and historical societies, carving DUGOUT CANOES all over the country! I really enjoy doing festivals, as well! If I can sell one or two of these rare pieces of "functional art" per year, I should be able to pay my bills. I just want to share the DUGOUT CANOE LOVE!
